For Marine applications Grounding is Critical. Because of the nature of marine construction, we suggest all ground wires go to a common ground post which is connected to battery negative and engine block for optimal instrument performance.

Oxidation and corrosion of wire connections is a real possibility in Marine applications, especially on salt water applications. We suggest protecting all connections with dielectric grease to keep moisture out.
